Bankrupt on hst but there was a partner listed on papers with CRA?Bankrupt on hst but there was a partner listed on papers with CRA?

There is another person on the papers with the HST for CRA but he was not active in the business, but we didn’t change it back to a sole business. I claimed all the income/expenses on my personal taxes. If I go bankrupt does this affect him although just his name was on the docs and had nothing to do with it?

If you go personally bankrupt the HST debt you owe will be erased.   The fact that you go bankrupt will not trigger HST debt owed by the other person.   Whether he owes HST or not will hinge on whether he was an officer or director ot the company.
