Can I get out of a filed bankruptcy? Can I get out of a filed bankruptcy?

I filed a consumer proposal and due to illness missed my payments of 3 in a row so my trustee put me into a bankruptcy which is my second bankruptcy now…the first one was discharged in 2001. Can I get out of this bankruptcy and pay my creditors myself or do a second proposal?

Your consumer proposal was probably annulled, which means it was canceled and you are not in bankruptcy.

You are no longer protected by the Stay of proceedings.

You are not allowed to file a second consumer proposal.

You should confirm this with your trustee.
