Can I have a joint savings account with a bank I listed as a creditor in my proposal? Can I have a joint savings account with a bank I listed as a creditor in my proposal?  I am currently on a Consumer Proposal, with a certain bank listed as one of my creditors.

My girlfriend uses that same bank, and wants to add me as a secondary owner to a savings account she has. Will that bank allow this?

I have a hard time saving money so I plan on giving my money to her to save for me.

Yes, the bank should allow this as it is the law in Canada that financial institutions cannot refuse an account to a person because of insolvency.
