Do I have to include automobile expenses on the monthly statements?
Regarding a sales person who gets kilometer reimbursements for a car.
I work as a sales representative for a company. I am paid a salary but don’t get a car allowance, but a kilometer reimbursement of my car expenses.
Since it is money that isn’t reflected in my T-4 slip, do I need to include this money in my monthly statements?
Trustees, in this matter, are guided by what is allowed under the Income Tax Act.
Therefore, you will not include this as income nor include automobile expenses on your monthly statements.
