For the 12 months ended September 30, 2017 insolvencies were down by 3.0% from the prior 12 months.

September 2017 Canadian Bankruptcy Statistics –

Insolvencies were down by 5.9% in September 2017 compared with the same month the previous year.

Consumer Bankruptcies were down by 7.2% for the year ended September 30, 2017 compared with the previous year

Business Bankruptcies were down by 8.6% for the year ended September 30, 2017 compared the previous year.
(2,719 / 2,976).
Proposals were up by 1.5% for the year ended September 30, 2017 compared with the previous year.
